Summary Objective This position will perform custom welding and fabrication based on provided CAD drawings. This position will perform occasional paint prep, seam seal, and masking off of bodies. Fabrication prep (cutting, using grinder, etc.) Fabrication including some design, layout, cutting, and forming Welding to specifications; 10 gauge to 1” steel Perform quality control checks on all completed jobs Quickly and efficiently perform all assigned tasks in the time frame presented on the job Always maintain a clean and well-kept service bay as it is our image to the public Perform quality control upon completion, before submitting to the next stage in the build Competencies Communication Proficiency Organizational Skills Mathematical Skills Technical Capacity Thoroughness Time Management Teamwork Work Environment This position works in a climate-controlled shop setting. Proper PPE must be worn at all times. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and sit for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a half hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.
