Maintenance Tech/Construction Team Member Needed

Responsibilities: -Oversee routine and emergency maintenance on ~60 units (residential and light commercial) working Includes routine work like furnace filter changes, property surveying, seasonal preparation and cleanup, common area maintenance, general cleanup, etc. Includes apartment “turnover” work including, but not limited to, drywall/plaster repair, painting, appliance replacement, minor electrical/ plumbing/ mechanical troubleshooting, general maintenance, etc. -Must be able to correspond with tenants, schedule work and show respect for personal spaces within units -Coordinate maintenance requests with owners and work diligently to complete tasks in a timely manner by managing own schedule -Assist owners in seasonal and long term planning for maintenance and upgrades -Work with small crew assisting with general building renovations Standard work includes demolition, rough framing, finish carpentry, general finish work, site cleanup, etc. *Extensive construction/renovation experience not required but basic knowledge in any or all above categories and willingness to learn is highly recommended Requirements: -Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs, climb stairs, safely use a ladder, work at height, have own vehicle or transportation system to work -Diligent in time management, timeliness in reporting to shifts, clear communication skills with both co-workers and tenants -Previous experience, whether personal or professional, relevant to job tasks listed above -Possession of drill driver and basic hand tools (hammer, pry bar, screwdriver, wrench set, etc) is highly recommended (but not required) -Minimum 2 professional references About Pohlar Construction: We are a small, family-owned company based in Northside in Cincinnati, Ohio. Vehicle reimbursements of $.60/mile is available if and when an employee uses their own utility vehicle for work-related hauling and supply.
