On November 8, at 12:00 PM CT, the Herzing University Madison campus will host a Layperson Naloxone (NARCAN) training session. Public Health Madison & Dane County will offer NARCAN training to all interested students, staff, teachers and the community. During this training session you will learn how to: Recognize the signs of an opioid overdoseAcquire knowledge of how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone Understand the role of harm reduction in the overall opioid public health crisis solutions/action plan/strategy.After the session, all attendees will get a NARCAN kit to take home with them.
