Neil Mangicaro is a reggae singer and music producer based in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon. His musical career began as lead singer of the project entitled “Monk” which gained a lot of popularity in the early 2000’s. Since then, Neil has begun his own solo journey performing throughout Oregon with the support of Oregon's finest reggae musicians in Roots Works Band. He’s shared the stage with many of reggaes top musicians including, Steel Pulse, Alborosie, Midnite, Anthony B, Yami Bolo and many others. Neil’s music has often been described as “soulful and lyrically captivating”. His love for poetry and hip-hop can be felt in both his lyrical and musical composition and often is compared to the likes of Damian Marley and Chronixx. Deep pounding drum and bass, uplifting reggae tone, thought provoking lyrics, and vocal “freestyling” makes Neil Mangicaro’s music unique and very easy to dance to. His recent studio work with Jamaican reggae star producer and dub artist Jallanzo are due to be released throughout the fall and winter of 2022-2023.
