New Shooter Orientation for Women (ages 18+) You do NOT need to own a firearm to attend this class. This class is only for women aged 18+ who are not otherwise restricted by state or federal law from owning a firearm. This class covers firearms safety, range safety, range rules and range commands, and basics of handguns and shooting fundamentals, and is taught by NRA Certified Pistol Instructors. We recommend this class for both new and experienced shooters who have never taken a formal basic pistol class. This class is FREE, but class size is limited to 10 students. We only ask that you please let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you are no longer able to attend, so that those on the waiting list have an opportunity to attend in your place. We do our best to social distance, and we follow basic sanitization procedures, however we ask that if you are in a high-risk group, have been exposed to someone with COVID or any other contagious illness, or you have run a fever within 72 hours of the class that you please not attend. Thank you! Please do NOT bring firearms to this class! We will be utilizing our Laser Training System for this class, providing both the student and the instructor with a safe and fun environment to learn safe gun handling and shooting fundamentals. This also saves money, since no range fees or ammunition costs are associated with this training. *Our Laser Training System is provided by Laser Ammo courtesy of an NRA Foundation Grant via the SC Friends of the NRA, enabling us to provide this class free of charge, without the student being required to own or bring a firearm or ammunition to the class.
