Must be only dog in the home

Description

This is Koda. He was found abandoned in the woods when he was 7/8 weeks old and we’ve had him ever since. The vet believes he may be a lab/pitbull mix possibly even have some German Shepard in him. We’ve had him for a year, he is up to date on all shots, was neutered in July and went through 6 weeks of one on one training lessons this summer. Still needs some work though. We do use a training collar on him a buzz or a beep ONLY which he tends to respond well to. He is a very dominant dog and for the last 6 months has been showing signs of aggression towards our older English bulldog. Usually seems to be about food, or toys but we never know when he’s going to snap. It has been hard to keep them separated and it’s also not fair to either of them. We have 4 teenagers and a 3 year old toddler that he does great with. He still jumps and is big, 65 pounds so he has knocked over our toddler but he’s tough and doesn’t mind. He would need to be the only dog in the home. Although he may do well with a female dog. He’s super cuddly all the time. He sleeps in his kennel every night from 9 pm until 7 am no problem. But during the day if he is put in his kennel too long he will work himself up and have an accident. If he is left out too long which we’ve had to do he tends to get into things he shouldn’t, no fault of his own our schedules went back to normal so sometimes he’s left for longer than he likes. He does use a doggy door so no accidents in the house when he has access to the bathroom whenever he needs it but if not he is also bell trained to ring it when he needs to be let out. He needs room to roam as he’s very active and playful but could use more leash training Please let me know if you have any other questions. Willing to negotiate a rehoming fee. He would also not do well in an apartment definitely needs a yard or property to roam.
