Description

Lillian Wiser, PLPC will join us on November 15 to discuss coping with medical trauma --dealing with chronic illness & pain as well as terminal illness. Lillian Wiser is from the Midwest. She moved down to the south for grad school and fell in love with the sunshine, weather, and culture. She did her graduate studies in Florida and relocated to south Louisiana, where her fiancé and his family are from. She enjoys paddle boarding, art, music, reading, and advocating for those dealing with disabilities and terminal illness. Lillian's area of focus is working with ages 18-85. She has a passion for working with the elderly and young adults dealing with dual diagnoses, trauma, medical trauma, chronic illness & pain, and terminal illness. She has experience working in multiple inpatient facilities dealing with addiction and mental health treatment, as well as specialized training working with anger management and substance abuse. Lillian enjoys incorporating a creative approach to therapy using art, music, inner child work, and parts therapy such as Internal Family Systems and Core Wounds Work. And while she enjoys incorporating Christian counseling into her therapeutic practice she respects all faiths and beliefs.
