Proceeds from this culturally rich and elevated evening directly supports the non-profit, Improve Your Tomorrow(IYT), which provides transformational programs and services to thousands of young men of color across Sacramento, Northern Central Valley, and the Bay Area. Their mission is to increase the number of young men of color who attend and graduate from colleges and universities. IYT envisions a nation in which young men of color are overrepresented in higher education, under-represented in the criminal justice system, and are leaders in their community. IYT enacts change by providing direct mentorship to youth, college and career tours, wellness programming, and more, all at no cost to its members. Why a Sneaker Ball?? Sneakers are representative across multiple cultures. For our young men of color, sneaker culture is a part of their identity. It is also a form of expression that shows your personality, taste, style, and is often a source of pride for many of our members.
