We are a progressive campaign hiring GOTV ambassadors to support incumbent elected officials in Rochester. A strong commitment to liberal politics and education is a must. Hours: Flexible Salary: Hourly rate of $20/hour Responsibilities * Engage with voters door to door educating them about our supported candidates and the importance of their vote. * Consistently show up on time for all weekly shifts (Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable) Qualifications * Excellent communication and oratory skills * Ability to memorize a short script and adjust as needed for audience * Ability to meet goals * Basic computer and interpersonal skills * Able to walk for long periods of time * Punctuality! * Highly motivated * Previous canvassing or phone banking experience, either paid or volunteer, is not required, but will receive preferential treatment. * Bilinguality in English/Spanish will receive preferential treatment. * Candidates with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle will receive preferential treatment. * Ability to start immediately *MUST BE VACCINATED Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Salary: $20.00 per hour Schedule: 4 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: Rochester, NY 14604: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: One location
