I am looking for an experienced lawn care/landscape maintenance person to work the remainder of 2022 lawn/landscape season. Seeking a person who can start ASAP. Full-time hours available but would also consider individuals requiring a part-time schedule. Position offers steady work from now until very late December. Possibilities for sporadic winter work exist and possible long term full-time employment for next season and beyond. The work duties involved would mostly entail mowing and mulching leaf debris as well as leaf clean-ups (raking and bagging leaf debris) shrub and bush trimming and clean-up, gutter cleanings, miscellaneous outdoor work and basic landscape maintenance projects. Potential to work up to 6 days per week. You would primarily be working alongside the owner most days. Depending on driving status, experience and other factors may work alone at times or may work and possibly lead a 2-3 man crew. Looking for a potential long-term employee to become my "right hand man" and possibly future crew leader. Starting pay ranges from $12.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and other factors. Also offering an end of season bonus based on attendance, performance and meeting certain expectations. A valid drivers license and insurability is a major plus and starts you higher on the pay scale but is not a requirement for employment as long as reliable transportation to and from work is not an issue. Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria: Note: The more experience and knowledge a candidate currently possesses the higher the starting pay rate. However, will train a motivated, reliable, punctual individual with a strong work ethic who lacks previous experience in this industry. *Previous and sustained employment history with a professional lawn care/landscape maintenance company. *Experience and familiarity operating commercial type ZTR mowers and walk behind mowers. *Experience and skill using string trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers, etc. *Basic or advanced mechanical skills a plus. *Reliability, punctuality, honesty, strong work ethic, friendly personality.
