Description

Finch is a 4 1/2 month old male kitten. He has long legs and large paws and a tail that he likes to curl under himself like a monkey. His sister Wren is a petite, female kitten. All of her features are very delicate and she is much smaller than her brother. Finch and Wren are two extremely playful kittens. They can turn anything into a toy, including a dirty pair of socks and rolls of toilet paper. They are very active and enjoy jumping from the counter to the tub and chasing each other all over the place. Both are very energized and love to have a plethora of toys, but do need a proper nap time after they've tired themselves out. Wren is very fond of Q-tips and burrowing beneath towels. Finch likes toys that crinkle and jingle. They both enjoy watching the sink run and having catnip sprinkled on everything. These two kittens were found beneath someone's house with their two siblings that unfortunately passed away after being rescued. It was unsure if both Wren and Finch were going to survive at first and they needed lots of TLC and night time feedings. Now both kittens are happy and healthy. Finch and Wren have had a very traumatic beginning and it may take a couple weeks to warm up to their person. They began purring about a week into being fostered in my home, though they were still wary of being held or touched. Finch is fine being held and will sometimes crawl onto your shoulder like a parrot. Wren is less fond of being held, but she is warming up to it as time goes by and they both learn that humans are friends and not scary. They greet me happily with little meows each morning and so clearly want to be loved, they just need some time to adjust to their new lives. They are shy of new people, loud noises, and sudden movements. They are very bonded with each other, and need to be adopted together. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy. And ready to join their new family! If you would like to meet Wren and Finch, please complete an application at Cat Rescue and Adoption Network's website. catrescues.org (under "forms")
