Contractor Looking For Apprentice

Jobs

Irvine CA

Description

Great opportunities don't come around very often. So one must learn to take advantage when one crosses your path. I am lucky to have been blessed with great mentors throughout my lifetime. These mentors have given me a lot of knowledge for my personal and professional life. I now feel the need to give back to someone who is looking for a new opportunity just like I was 10 years ago. I'm looking for an apprentice, male or female, to take under my wing. I will be teaching you everything I know about the construction and business industry. Please serious people only, let's not waste our time. WHO I AM: I have lived in OC for most of my life. I have been in the construction industry for about 15 years now, and running my own business for about 10. We do approximately 6-8 jobs per month. WHO YOU ARE: You want a great future for you and your family. You are coachable and want to start a career in the construction industry. You are not afraid to get your hands and clothes dirty. You must also be comfortable talking to strangers, such as neighbors, new clients, new employees, etc. WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU: I can teach you everything I know about the construction industry. From planning to execution. From starting a simple paint job, to designing projects, to remodeling an entire kitchen. Your duties will include: helping with everyday tasks (delivering materials, communicating with clients, etc.), learning new crafts, knocking on neighbor's doors, writing contracts/invoices, organizing paperwork, prospecting for new clients, etc. And if all goes well, I will help you get your own contractor's license. Thanks to the contractor that helped me get my license, so many doors opened for me. I was able to become my own boss and start my own company. I'm looking for someone who is self motivated, clean cut, responsible, positive and highly energetic. Perfect for a "people" person. Previous experience in sales, marketing, and construction in general is a major plus. Those who qualify, reply with previous work experience/resume and why you want to become contractor. Again serious people only.
