Seasonal Ice rink is Returning!!! And with that it means, we are looking to hire a few customer-oriented employees for the busy holiday season at a seasonal ice rink on the west side. Enthusiastic, friendly, courteous individuals required. Prior customer service a must! Punctual, neat, outgoing people need only apply! All positions are considered temporary employment due to the fact this is a seasonal ice skating facility. All positions must be able to assist with maintaining a clean venue and work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be 18 or older to apply. JOB DESCRIPTIONS: Skate Patrol / Guard Must have basic first-aid skills and prior ice-skating experience, able to ice skate and patrol the ice simultaneously. Skate Patrol enforce and explain to customers the rules and regulations designed to maintain safety for all the patrons, advise skaters on how to fit and lace skates, disburse knowledge on the rink rules and programs. Perform tasks associated with the maintenance and operation of the venue such as routine rink maintenance, ice resurfacing, customer service and site monitoring on the grounds. Skate Desk / Counter Dispense rental skates to patrons upon presentation of appropriate wristband. Assist in ice maintenance, skate maintenance and storage, cleanliness of bench area, skate desk area and restrooms. Must be able to explain to customers the rules and regulations designed to maintain safety for all the patrons. Front Desk Cashier Perform many duties ranging from money handling, booking lessons to group reservations. Must have good cash handling skills and be able to effectively operate a computerized POS system. Excellent customer service talking to the customers, answering the phone and questions regarding the venue and programs. Manager Managing staff and operational functions of the facility to attain profitability, productivity, and supply a one-of-a kind guest experience. Will be responsible for making sure that each employee has taken their breaks at the correct time. Will be handling cash so knowledge of cash registers and operating systems is very helpful. Will be interacting with guest fielding complaints, answering questions, and in times assisting with filling out reports. Must be personable and respectful but also know how to lead a team.
