Industrial Mechanic (Los Angeles) Pay Rate: $28-$30/HR Employment Type: full-time Food manufacture in Los Angeles (90065) is hiring for industrial mechanics. We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic. Duties will include troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance. Ideal candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule weekends, different shifts, and holidays. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: preventive maintenance and repair of depositors, ovens, conveyors, chains, sprockets, ac/dc motors, air cylinders, mixers, packaging machines. Must have general knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical, sensors, hand held tools, fabrication, welding, plumbing, measuring tools (standard and metric). -Perform repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations -Mechanically troubleshoot all equipment problems such as hydraulics, pneumatics and machinery -Fabricate or modify machines, tools or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products. -Overhaul, rebuild existing equipment and install new equipment and components -Perform assigned preventative maintenances tasks -Keep maintenance and production supervisors up-to-date at all times -Maintain a clean and safe work environment -Ability to work with and train others, including mechanics and operators -Comply with all safety rules and regulations -Request assistance when needed to resolve problems preventive maintenance and repair of depositors, ovens, conveyors, chains, sprockets, ac/dc motors, air cylinders, mixers, packaging machines. Must have general knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical, sensors, hand held tools, fabrication, welding, plumbing, measuring tools (standard and metric).
