Opportunity to learn about the management of state forestlands and help oversee social media campaigns to generate interest and support for specific CRF-sponsored events, projects, and programs. Looking for a self-motivated individual with social media/marketing experience who has an interest in forest conservation. This is currently an unpaid volunteer position, but has the potential to quickly evolve into a part-time paid position. Responsibilities may include:  Design and manage social media/ networking campaigns on Instagram, Reddit, Facebook, and other similar platforms to drive traffic to our website and Youtube channel, and attract new followers, donors, and subscribers.  Help define and engage target audiences and segments.  Post relevant forest conservation content, climate content, and general conservation content.  Track local media & press related to our Legacy Forest work and post news updates to social media.  Develop partnerships with influencers. – Participate in trending conversations. – Monitor success of outreach campaigns.  Manage Youtube channel  Help design and maintain website Required Skills:  Ability to create engaging video shorts and content  Experience with social media platforms and current trends in effective social media outreach  Interest in forest ecology and conservation Preferred Qualifications (Optional):  Experience managing accounts in Facebook Business Manager  Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software  Experience working with advanced video editing software (Final Cut, Premiere Pro, Power Director, etc.)  Knowledge of forest ecology and silviculture  Degree in digital marketing or related field  Experience using Wix website design and marketing tools and social media integrations Help is here for you: Our team has experienced designers, videographers, marketers, and grant writers.
