At Holt we sell and service a wide-variety of equipment Tractors, Agricultural Equipment, Forklifts, Prime and Stand-by-Power Generation, and On-Highway Truck Engines.    THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN STOCKTON   POSITION SUMMARY   The Earthmoving Assistant Service Manager has responsibility for assistance in the success of the Earthmoving Service Department as measured by customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, safety, growth, profitability, and the overall success of the Earthmoving Division. This position is expected to positively engage with all Earthmoving Departments for the ultimate success of our customers and the division.      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   Asist with the development of the EMD Service Supervisor and service operations with the goal of improving grow capacity, quality control, and profitability                 Assist with Implement goals and processes and work with the Service Manager on financial statements to maximize growth and profitability.                 Utilize KPI’s to guide each shop’s success.                 Work with Service Manager on Service Department budgeting and target setting.                 Embrace the EMD Ethos by working with all EMD Departments.                 Improve and implement key processes to drive towards “Cat Gold Standard” for Service Operations.                 Develop and maintain relationships with other Holt Service management as well as neighboring dealers for service collaboration and best practice sharing.                 Recommend methods to improve product offerings, equipment, performance, and quality of product offerings.                 Safety – Help achieve Vision Zero goals of zero incidents/injuries across the organization.                 Other duties as assigned.     SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES   Directly supervises 4 to 5 supervisors. This role is responsible assisting the Service Manager with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the service departments efforts for the Earthmoving Division. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems   SKILLS   Teamwork - Exhibits objectivity and openness to other views, gives and welcomes feedback and contributes to building a positive team environment.                 Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively, edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, able to read and interpret written information.                 Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance, monitors own work to ensure quality.                 Accountability - Accepts responsibility for mistakes or problems; maintains ownership of assigned tasks.                 Attitude - Demonstrates a positive attitude and supports the organization’s mission, vision and values, such as honesty and integrity.                 Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures.                 Systems and Software – Ability to utilize computers, software programs (ie.
