Ideal Candidates have: - Passion for the environment - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Computer savvy - we used a variety of communication tools and SW platforms - Ability to work on construction sites in all weather (and spend a fair amount of time driving) - Ability to work independently once trained; be a team player who is dependable and conscientious - An eye for detail - Ability to lift approximately 35 pounds, multiple times a day - Construction experience or knowledge (desired, but not required) Energy inspectors earn their Rating Field Inspector (RFI) certification within a month of being hired; RFIs are considered Energy Raters in training; with the right fit, we quickly put you on a training path to becoming a certified HERS Energy Rater, which is a salaried, non-exempt (eligible for overtime) position. Our headquarters is in Berthoud, CO, but we also have offices in Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs and Oahu, HI. Raters may have use of EnergyLogic cars, depending on eligibility and availability, or are reimbursed for mileage.
