Kidz Night Out/Parents’ Night Out: There is a pretty cool program, called "Kidz Night Out/Parents’ Night Out", for kids on Friday evenings (and other times such as during summer & after school programs) where they can go and build things similar to legos, etc. It is held at different places. For the Friday nights, for instance: Oct 21 it's at Midlothian Bible Church, and Oct 28, it's at Ennis - St. Thomas Church.
