ACOUSTIC PLAYER- VOCALS SEEKS A UTILITY BASS/GUITAR/PERCUSSION/VOCALS/KEYS FOR DUO
Looking for a Unicorn.
I’m venturing out again (after a 2 decade hiatus) doing an acoustic / vocal thing, playing the typical covers from 1960’s thru modern. Thinking I would like to be a “duo” instead of just a “single”.
I play guitar (acoustic and electric), decent lead vocals, lousy harmonies (but have a great, TC-Helicon, vocal harmony machine I currently use), used to play drums, can play ‘passable’ bass, and if necessary, a bit of keys in an emergency.
Looking for someone who can at least play ‘root’ bass, maybe be a second guitar and can contribute on vocals, likely do ‘suit case’ kick drum (and maybe more) while playing bass or keys.
Looking for someone who can at least play ‘root’ bass and maybe guitar as well, can contribute on vocals, likely do ‘suit case’ kick drum (and maybe more) while playing bass or keys.
Just fish’in right now. Have between 100-150 songs somewhere between ‘in the can’ or “a work in progress”.
A few artists I’m covering range from: Beatles, Who, Puddle of Mudd, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Snow Patrol, Crowded House, Garth Brooks, ELP, Tom Petty, Cutting Crew, Hootie, America, Matchbox 20, Buffet, STP, David Bowie, Fastball, Chris Issac, Oasis, and MANY more.
I’m well equipped with gear to do anything from street busking to covering a few hundred people.
Not really interested in ‘busy bar’ gigs, but maybe lower key bars. Corporate gigs, coffee shops, camp grounds etc would be ideal at this point. Maybe 1-3 times per month.? Have rehearsal space near I-25 and Woodman.
Again, have loads of amps (guitar and bass), PA, Effects, mics, drum kit, keys, drum machines, some percussion and other weird instruments, etc, etc, etc.
Probably someone north of 40ish would probably work best.
Interested? Jerry
