Here’s what you’d do: The Dispatch Supervisor is available to work all snow events and is responsible to build a team of dispatchers and assistant manager(s) and to assemble the team when their services are necessary. You’d be responsible for: Build out a Dispatch Team, team members and assistant manager(s) Write SOP’s for Dispatch Crew and update as necessary Act as the first line of communication to Snow Warriors Provide Snow Warriors with necessary information to go out in the field Call Dispatchers before the storm to bring them on board Work on call shifts, sometimes requiring overnight operations Build out team of Dispatchers and assemble team when services are necessary You might be a good fit if you have: Must have previous experience working in a Dispatch position Work well under pressure while maintaining the calm Ability to communicate effectively, in a positive manner & timely with all colleagues in a fast-paced environment Must have experience training & mentoring others in a positive & productive way Must ensure that all paperwork is completed before, during and after each Event Strong attention to detail Must be able to multi-task, think quickly and able to provide solutions Previous management experience, a plus Must be knowledgeable in Excel and Word Have dependable transportation Able to pass a background check Able to lawfully work in the USA Here’s what to know about working here: Winter Services is a branch of Brightview Snow Services, positioned as a leader in the Snow & Ice Management Industry.
