Feldco, the Midwest's leading home renewal company, and repeated Top Workplace honoree in Chicago, is looking for a select few driven individuals to join our ranks as Construction Apprentices in our Springfield market.
About the position:
This is an entry level position that will allow you a chance to learn the installation and servicing of our window, siding and entry door products. The individual will be on a rotation in the field over 6-9 months before having an opportunity to transition into a Field Technician or In-House Installer role.
About the person:
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands and/or considers themselves a handy-person. Individual should enjoy and be comfortable working outside and with power tools. Most importantly, this person is driven and reliable and looking for a career in the construction field. Previous construction experience is a plus, but is not required. We'll teach you all you need to know.
**Individual must have a valid driver's license.
The hours:
- 7am - 4 or 5pm, 5 days a week.
The perks:
- $16 - $17/hour. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, pay will increase to $18 - $20/hour + bonuses.
- Full-time, year-round position.
