WORK WITH MEK ENTERPRISES, INC. – WE ARE GROWING! In this role mover/installer, you will be responsible for loading and unloading the truck, installing furniture according to the directions you receive, and assembling items on-site. You will also help prep the job site and clean up after the installation is complete. Must have the physical ability to load and unload furniture items from the delivery truck to client site. The mover/installer position calls for a significant amount of physical strength and stamina, performing all other responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager as assigned. This is an AT-WILL position and you will report to the Operations Manager. Job Requirements: • MUST be reliable • MUST want to work • MUST be detail oriented • Assemble and install furniture according to instructions, blueprints or job tickets • Mount televisions, cabinets, shelves, overhangs and other wall units • Prep and clean up the job site • Previous installation or carpentry work and experience using hand and power tools is a plus • Maintain a safe and clean workspace • Professionalism, customer service and positive energy to work with a team • Able to lift and use moving equipment efficiently • Packing, wrapping and marking items so they are protected while in transport • Remaining customer service oriented and keeping a positive attitude at all times • Must be able to lift heavy items (35 to 100 lbs.) • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and company policies • Ability to bend, twist, walk and stand for extended periods to perform normal job functions • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents Important Criteria: • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check • Must have reliable transportation • Must speak fluent English • Exhibit ethical behavior in accordance with our code of ethics and business conduct to complete required training within the allotted time frame • May be required to work on weekends and holidays. May need to be "on-call" and last-minute jobs are possible. Hours and schedule may vary as the company continuously accepts job bids and reservations from clients.
