Hole In One Golf Carts is growing and we are looking for a Service Writer to join our team in Cape Coral, Florida. Since we started our business over thirty years ago, the golf cart industry has been transformed by technology and capabilities that have impacted how golf carts are used. No longer are they just for golf! Golf carts are used for work, sport, and play to embrace the Florida lifestyle with an enjoyable ride. Successful Service Writers will have a proven work experience in either golf carts, recreational vehicles, power motor sports, marine, or automotive industries, Job Summary: The Service Writer is a liaison between our customers and service technicians by scheduling service appointments, writing cost estimates for repair orders, and processing warranty work orders, maintaining control until service work is completed and invoiced. Responsibilities: • Answer multi-line phone system, checking voicemail system as necessary • Answer and send emails • Follow-up with customers requesting service, parts, rentals, and leases • Schedule service appointments geographically in online calendar • Collect and maintain accurate customer records • Prepare cost estimates for service work • Process warranties and warranty service work orders • Create purchase orders, handle purchasing • Receive inventory and record in Quick Books • Track repairs and record in Quick Books • Process payments • Greet customers in showroom Skills: • Working knowledge of office equipment i.e., desktop computer, copier, multi-line phone system, and scanner • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills • Excellent interpersonal communication skills • Detail orientated • Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent customer service skills with a patient disposition • Conflict resolution skills • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment   Physical requirements: • Must be able to perform adjusting or moving objects up to 60 lbs. in all directions. • Must be able to move oneself in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces occasionally. • Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time constantly. • Must be able to perform repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers constantly. Qualifications for this position: • High school diploma or GED equivalent • 1+ years of relevant and recent experience in sales position. Helpful backgrounds are car dealerships, ATV dealers, power sport dealers, or boat dealers • Experience working with Quick Books highly desired, but not required • Reliable, punctual, and maintain good attendance • Upon hire must be able to provide authorization of legal right to work in the U.S. • We offer group health insurance and paid time off after the probationary period has been met. Rate of pay: $19.00-25.00 per hour, paid weekly. Pay may be negotiable based on previous, relevant work experience. Over time is available.
