We are excited to announce this Give Back SOCIAL Event at The Joinery! We will spend the evening putting together care kits to donate to the houseless population through Blanchet House. Join us for light bites, beverages, and an opportunity to come together as an A+D members to give back to our local Portland community! The mission of Blanchet House is to offer food, shelter, and aid to all those in need of a safe place to be nourished and restored. Assist the transformation of each life we touch with compassion and dignity. Care kits include basic items that many Blanchet House guests need everyday. The care kits show kindness and compassion for a fellow human being going through difficult times and enduring cruel living conditions. You will have the opportunity to sponsor a care kit when registering for the event! We are also accepting general donations that will go directly to the Blanchet House. These opportunities will be included in the ticket details. This donation and proceeds for the event will go directly to the Blanchet House. IIDA Oregon Chapter is a 501c6 Non-Profit membership associations contributions made to the chapter are not tax deductible.
