Thanksgiving is right around the corner. What animal is the big star of the holiday? What is the natural history of the wild turkey that you might find in your backyard? What other animals live in the same habitat as turkey and share the same food? While we do not have a live turkey, we do have some live animal ambassadors that live where the turkeys do. Explore with a real turkey foot, wing and skull. Make a turkey to take home. Play a game with us. This 45-minute Parent & Me class includes: *Admission for one adult and one child ages 3-5(contact me if there are siblings as this will depend upon the ages as the instructor cannot focus completely on child with craft or activity) *Class size is a maximum of 15 with a minimum of 4 required to run. *Live animal ambassador(s) that relate to the class *All materials will be provided for the class. For these programs there are typically 1-2 activities and/or game or craft in which the group participates. A book is shared with many of the programs.
