Delivery Helper Needed

A two person team (Driver & Helper) will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods by lifting and/or material handling equipment. Attention to detail is required so that no damage occurs to either the merchandise or the customer's property. Basic set up of delivery items is required by service delivery. Team moves furnishings from the warehouse by loading on the box truck and delivering to the home. Duties Include: •Must be Must be able to move furniture up and down stairs and through narrow doorways and tight spaces, without damaging the furniture or floors, walls or doors •Must be able to lift 50 lbs •Must be responsible, dependable, reliable, honest and work well with the assigned team member •Must possess good verbal communication •Must keep the truck and workspace tidy and organized Delivery Helper Associate: The Delivery Helper Associate is responsible for assisting the driver with the delivery of merchandise to customer homes. Merchandise includes mattresses, furniture, home decor Additional job responsibilities include: • Properly loading all products on truck for delivery • Following prescribed safety procedures at all times to protect associates, customers, merchandise, and property • Using and maintaining material handling equipment per process • Handling paperwork accurately per process • Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining a professional attitude • Participating in making customer calls before delivery and during routes • Addressing and relaying any customer concerns to management immediately If you are not dependable and cannot make it to work on time, NEED NOT APPLY.
