Meyer (M.A.) is well-renowned as a teacher, adventurer, and healer. In addition to having her Master’s Degree and a solid teaching base as a special education teacher, she is a certified yoga teacher, Thai yoga massage practitioner, Reiki Master, Polarity practitioner, and Interspiritual Minister. Her studies led her from the US, studying at such places as; Stony Brook University, The Himalayan Institute, Reiki Arts Continuum, The Open Center, One Spirit Learning Alliance, Life Energy Institute, and Urban Zen; to India, Bali, Thailand, Mexico and New Zealand where she studies with a variety of Masters in different formal and informal locations. As a life-long student and seeker, she continues to study adding to her skill set and resources. In 2007, Meyer created “Moonheart Healing Arts Center”, NYC as a sanctuary and refuge for those seeking peace and clarity on their life’s journey. Meyer teaches and practices the healing arts using a variety of body/mind/spirit techniques, such as yoga, polarity, reiki, meditation, sound healing, and aromatherapy. She creates individual energy-based bodywork sessions. She also coaches individuals and small groups with healthy lifestyle choices, such as diet and nutrition, stress reduction, mindful movement, and positive affirmations; with the intention of improving their vibrancy and zest for life.
