Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures for a day on the trail. We will enjoy fresh air, views of Perry Lake and some time together in nature. You will park at the Slough Creek Bridge to board the Dirty Bus for a ride to the Audubon Area on the Perry Lake Trail. Once at the Audubon Area, you will take in some lake views and hopefully spot some of the migrating American White Pelicans on the water. The hike will be 3.5 - 4 miles in length on a well maintained section of the PLT. This section of the trail does include some uneven terrain with steep incline/decline but is considered easy to moderate in difficulty. Dirty Girls, Dirty Dudes and Dirty Teens are encouraged to attend. Dogs on Leashes are also invited. We'll send you specific directions the evening before our hike, we always watch the weather and conditions, often updating details for an event at the last minute to ensure safety and comfort. Meet: 9:30am Ferguson Road Bridge Lake Perry Hike: 10:00 - 1ish Bring/wear: water, snacks, monocular or binocular, comfortable shoes with good tread, comfortable clothes, layers, bandana, hiking pole/s, bug spray Dirty Girl Adventures Event Refund Policy: Refunds will be issued if the request for refund is received by EMAIL no less than one week prior to the event. Dirty Girl Adventures may cancel or modify an event due to weather or conditions. Everyone will receive a refund if that is the reason for the cancellation. We paddle and hike in cool, rainy or snowy conditions. Cancellation only occurs in severe weather or other dangerous conditions. What are you paying for? It's more than a hike, it's an experience! You will meet new people, visit new places and enjoy some special opportunities to connect with nature. We will provide instruction, support, guidance and safety information before and during each event. We will be there with you for the duration of the event doing our best to help you remain comfortable and engaged in the adventure. You may have the opportunity to ride the Dirty Bus as your shuttle from one point to the other.
