The Shalomalization of our Towns and Neighborhoods
The work of shalom is a complex and life-long journey with relationships at the core. It is work that is challenged by the era of enormous isolation in which we live and by an overdependence on systems and institutions to solve problems and meet needs. Shalom is fostered by a culture of care that emerges when neighbors are connected, and communities are restored.
The Transformational Communities Network invites you to join with others across the Rio Texas Conference as we experience a conversation that inspires possibilities for the future of our communities – a future grounded in a shared vision for the common good.
Who should attend?

Committed to helping neighborhoods grow.Seeking pathways that promote connections and engagement.Eager for new perspectives and approaches to strengthen communities.Looking for ways to get started, gain momentum, or renew community partnerships.Limited scholarships are available.
