Did you know that no state has a city with more monuments dedicated to veterans than Indiana's capital, and no city in the country maintains more acreage honoring veterans than Indianapolis? Additionally, with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway right in its backyard we are excited to share that Battle Scarred Motorsports (BSM) is coming to Indianapolis! As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, our mission at Battle Scarred Motorsports (BSM) is to provide military veterans a safe place to bond, find purpose, and engage with citizens to better re-acclimate to civilian life. We achieve this by getting veterans behind the wheel of a racecar, providing additional mental health services, and creating a community with a family feel. This October 26th, we are excited to host the Indy BSM Chapter Launch Party!🎉 Join us at SILO Auto Club for a night of celebration with local talent, drinks, food, and good vibes. Hosting the event will be Graham Rahal (currently racing in the IndyCar Series with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and a strong and high profile leader in the local car community), as well as Karah Behrend (former Airforce veteran and active adaptive racecar driver), Brian Czech (former Marine and BSM President), and Lesley Farner (Indy Cars and Coffee board member and BSM racecar driver). Each of whom will share their unique experiences around the BSM Organization and the impact that racing can have on the quality of life of disabled veterans. --------------------------------------------------------- Doors will open at 5:00pm. A panel discussion will take place from 6:45 to 7:45pm. A live DJ will keep the music playing from 7:45pm to closing. --------------------------------------------------------- The $20 ticket price includes hors d'oeuvres. Additional alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.
