Description

Space is limited to 15 people. Help remove thistle plants that grow very near the trail. You will be rewarded with breathtaking views and the satisfaction that comes from physical labor and teamwork. Bring plenty of drinking water and snacks as needed. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided. We recommend wearing long pants and sleeves, as thistle can have sharp spines. Regarding Covid-19: If you feel sick or if you have recently been exposed to anyone with a positive diagnosis, please stay home. Registration is required as we are limiting the number of participants. Volunteers will meet our staff at the Gateway to Jenner Headlands parking lot off Highway 1. The work area is a 1.25-mile hike from the parking lot. If the service road is drivable we may drive to the work area.
