Why You Are Needed: This position is responsible for prepping and painting necessary parts and units for each What You Will Receive in Return: Competitive Salary 120 hours of PTO 8 Paid Holidays Health/Dental/Vision Insurance Corporate Health Club Membership at Crunch 401k with 2% match $1,500 Sign on bonus available Requirements What You Will Need to Succeed: Education: High School Diploma/GED Experience: 1-2 years required, 3-5 years preferred as a painter in a production/metal fabrication facility or similar experience using HVLP (high volume low pressure) spray guns to paint walls, roofs, or ceilings. Skills needed: Ability to set up, maintain, operate, and clean a paint pot system Ability to prepare unit and parts for the paint process Understand how to operate auxiliary tools or equipment such as, power washer, sand blaster, or sander. Ability to determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality Ability to manipulate valves, or switches to regulate air pressure and circulation Understand the use of viscosity measuring devices (viscosimeters) and mil gauge Ability to wear respiratory protection equipment Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve when needed Ability to safely perform tasks and produce a quality product in an efficient and productive manner to meet goals and timelines Ablet to manage time, tasks, and workflows independently with little supervision Need to be reliable, responsible, and dependable Must have a keen attention to detail Ability to be on your feet and in precarious positions for 8-10 hours per day Must be able to safely work from heights 20 feet high or on roof tops with a ½ inch slope per foot Must understand relevant paperwork for each individual job needs Ability to review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements
