Description

Bring your holiday do-it-yourself spirit and order a drink to get your creative juices flowing. Enjoy three mini-workshops complete with all the tools and materials you need to learn each of three perfectly giftable crafts: sugar cookie decorating, succulent terrariums, and gift tag calligraphy. You’ll have intimate access to expert advice, curated tools and materials, and a private corner in one of Southern New Hampshire’s hotspots. Turns out that project was harder than expected? Each host will offer an exclusive discount on pre-ordered gifts and services, just in case. What you’ll learn: Sugar Cookie Decorating - Discover the secret to picture-perfect cookies using royal icing and sprinkles, and give beautiful gifts that don't need any shelf space!Succulent Terrariums - Learn to arrange a miniature, self-contained landscape, but beware--these low-maintenance cuties are the gateway to plant obsession!Gift Tag Calligraphy - Play with two modern calligraphy techniques: dip pen and faux calligraphy. Your friends and family won’t want to throw away your gorgeous gift tags!Meet your hosts: Posy Cottage Cookies - Royal icing queen Kate Soleau is self taught and has been decorating cookies for over 8 years. Based in Milford, she started teaching her cookie decorating classes in spring of 2022 and has enjoyed sharing her knowledge with many happy students! The Knotted Finds - Plant mom Taylor Pelletier recently turned an Etsy-based macrame hobby into a thriving tropical plant and gift shop in Amherst. She regularly hosts macrame and terrarium workshops and has a mission to make finding the perfect plant both fun and easy.Letterly - Lettering lover and lifelong artist Lorin Baeta worked as a graphic designer before going back to her traditional media roots and starting Letterly in 2017. Recently relocated to Wilton, she now works mainly in hand-painted signage and has allll the tips for putting letters on everything! When purchasing your ticket(s), PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF YOUR SEATING TIME. There are two ticketed seating times: Early Seating doors open at 5:00pm and workshops begin at 5:30pm. Late Seating ticket holders will be admitted at 6:30pm and Late workshops will begin at 7:00pm. We strongly recommend that you arrive with enough time to order drinks and food, so that you can focus on learning and practicing during our 15-20 minute workshops. There will be a short break between each workshop to allow for additional restaurant orders, crafting purchases and instructor questions.
