Job Title: Production Associate - Assembly & Fabrication Location: Yakima Washington General Purpose: The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for fabricating parts and assemblies and completing the final manufactured product. Job Type: Full time. Pay: Depends on Experience $16+ DOE Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly Friday Pre employment drug test and background check are required. Experience and Qualifications: 2-4 years of production assembly and fabrication experience is a plus. Welding, construction work and wood working is a plus. Experience with shop equipment, mills, lathes, saws and hand tools is a plus Experience using a tape measure, calipers and measuring gauges is a plus Job Responsibilities: Assembly of door manufacturing & perform complex assembly work. Perform welding and brazing when needed, fabricate and modify parts Learn and follow procedure to complete the final assembly in manufacturing. Works with industry specific machines including but not limited to: table saw, lathes, drills, hammers and cutting wheel. Regular maintenance and repair of equipment including lathes, mills, and power tools with compressed air, welding, fabricating, and installing new equipment as needed. To follow safety protocol on all shop tools & equipment Ensure work performed conforms to management and required safety expectations. Keep workspace clean and safe from any obstructions. Support in the field installs as needed Tasks require a high level of skill with a variety of hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and machinery. Typically involves a variety of operations, including troubleshooting and rework, requiring a sufficient understanding of the functional operation of the items assembled as well as the finished product. Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions. Ability to perform repetitive duties while standing for long periods of time. Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. on a daily basis.
