As an Auto Mechanic at American Federal Auto, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned in accordance with the dealer and factory standards. Job Duties: • Using manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify potential problems in a car • Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions to management • Planning work and repairs in a fast pace work environment • Testing parts and systems to ensure they work correctly • Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested • Performing basic automotive care • Repairing or replacing worn, old or defective parts of a car • Diagnose and repair transmission, motor, and other major components Requirements: ASE certified or equivalent experience Must have a valid driver license Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle Ability to adjust in a changing environment a PLUS Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturdays) Pay: DOE We are a small close nit team and would like to have someone who is reliable, dedicated, works well with a team and takes pride in their work!
