This Soil Health Workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to further their understanding of the vast world of soil biology. Rethinking your soil management practices reduces weed, disease, and pest pressure, resulting in less labor, increased soil moisture retention, as well as healthier and better-tasting crops.
Guest speaker, Charlotte Canner, will be joining us from the nonprofit and Evergreen Nursery partner, Our Water Our World, where she will be covering a wide range of topics on improving your soil health and the importance healthy soil plays in building a diverse ecosystem within our yards and gardens.
Our Water Our World is an award-winning partnership between city- and county-based water pollution prevention agencies and garden centers that sell pest control products. Working together to reduce the risks associated with pesticide use, with a focus on less-toxic, eco-friendly products and techniques.
