CBS San Francisco January 06, 2021 SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – UCSF Medical Center announced Wednesday that they have vaccinated nearly 10,000 frontline staff from COVID-19 and have begun distributing second doses. Hospital officials said in a statement that the vaccinations so far are only a part of the 21,500 employees in the initial phase of distribution. Frontline employees receiving the Pfizer shots include custodial workers, nurses, phlebotomists and respiratory therapists, along with physicians that are at higher risk of being exposed to COVID-19 at work.
