Description

Main Details:The Feast this year will be modeled on the approach taken last year: thus, it will be split into the two phases of Comestion and Comessation. (They're real words, look them up.)One ticket type will encompass both phases; whereas the other ticket type will only pertain to the second phase.Doors will open to full (Comestion) ticket holders at 7:00 PM.Doors will never open, properly speaking, to partial (Comessation) ticket holders; but the phase of the evening including them will begin around 8:15, being held outside—hence the doors thing. They'll still be allowed inside betimes to urinate and such, however.Comestion (the eating eggs and bacon bit) will commence at 7:15 PM and end by 8:15 PM. A full ticket is required for this portion of the Feast.Comessation (the toasting, drinking, singing bit) will commence at 8:15 PM and run through the remainder of the evening. Both a full ticket and a partial ticket suffice for participation in this portion of the Feast.PARTIAL TICKETS WILL ONLY GO ON SALE ONCE SUFFICIENT OF THE FULL TICKETS OPPORTUNITIES HAVE BEEN CLAIMED FOR THE COVERAGE OF COSTS - SO ACT FAST, AND DON'T BE A CHEAPSKATE!A certain number of "early bird discounts" are available for FULL tickets who purchase before September 30, on a first-come-first-serve basis: a discount of over 10%! Additional InformationAs the majority of our time will be spent out of doors, please take all necessary sartorial precautions—i.e., dress appropriately for the weather.Tickets defray the costs reflecting the level of participation, and provender of food and drink in one case, or just drink in the other; but mostly, tickets help control numbers and also will provide a donation to our incredibly generous hosts at Ivy Hall. So, don't complain, and no, you can't get a free pass.In addition to whatever one would normally bring (Whiskey, for example, is always welcome), please bring a flashlight (if you don't have a phone that does this sort of thing) or other means of illumination sufficient for reading, as we will be praying Compline outside in the relative dark and there may be other printed material to which we will need to make reference.Any questions and concerns that remain after this are frankly probably superfluous and not worth consideration, but if you really must, then by all means go ahead and address them to the organizer.
