Rockford based residential rental company is searching for a reliable Handyman/Handywoman that can complete various remodeling and maintenance tasks. We are looking for someone who has at least 3 or more years of paid experience in general carpentry and handyman work. Your maintenance responsibilities involve solving basic electrical and plumbing issues, as well as ensuring interior and exterior structural components are safe and in good condition. You must be able to lift 50 to 75 lbs., and you should be proficient with hand and power tools. This is a full time, permanent position with compensation depending on experience. Handyman Duties and Responsibilities • Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the properties • Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment • Ensure necessary tools are on hand • Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or tenants • Perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance • Bathroom Upgrades / Remodel • Drywall Repair / Patching / Caulking • Flooring Repair and Installation • General Carpentry • General Handyman Work • Kitchen Repair / Remodel • Painting Interior and Exterior • General building cleaning and maintenance Handyman Requirements and Qualifications • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred • Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools • Reliable transportation • Mechanical aptitude • Effective communication skills • Three (3) years of Property maintenance/handyman experience (Required) • Valid Driver’s License and have a clean driving record (be Insurable) • Ability to pass a background check Salary $44,500 to $52,500 Please forward resume and/or work history. .
