The City of Orlando, Orlando Bike Coalition, and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invite you to celebrate Mobility Week and the opening of the newest section of the Orlando Urban Trail on Saturday, October 22nd from 5:30 pm - 7 pm! Join us on a family-friendly, 6.5 mile round-trip slow-paced group ride starting from the Mennello Art Museum to the Downtown Arts District. This event is a fantastic opportunity to not only get to know our City's bike network but to also ride past some highlights of our thriving art scene, including: Mennello Museum Sculpture Garden, Orlando Postcard Wall Mural, Solidarity Sculpture, CityArts Historic Flagship Venue, and Heritage Square Park. Event Information: Helmets are required for all ages.Children need to be accompanied by a guardian.If arriving by car, limited, free parking is available adjacent to the museum. Additional and covered parking is available in the nearby four-story Orlando Science Center parking garage for a fee.Waiver will be signed upon arrival so be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ride.The ride will start promptly at 5:30 PM.Be sure to be on the look out as our art is not just found on our walls but also drains, utility boxes, and even dumpsters!
