Multi-week engagement to make / supervise maintenance, repairs / upgrades and be able to make electronic adjustments on KAMEWA controls (circa mid 90’s - written procedures available.)
Captain license (minimum 100 T, but 200T better) preferred but not mandatory because mechanical and electronic expertise + marine knowhow is the objective of this search. In other words, please know what you are talking about and do not overstate your skill level.
Prefer strong personality that is short on talk and long on whatever it takes to complete our mutually agreed projects. Technical conversation is required to exchange interim status information, plus daily email report. Must maintain maintenance / repair log with all vendor contact info - maybe daily report could serve both purposes?
Spacious onboard living accommodation with private suite (2 sleeping cabins, dayroom / office, largest head shower on board - 2 small combined during refit).
If desirable, this engagement could lead to an ongoing position if personal chemistry and skill sets are good. Some travel is required.
Compensation determined after bona fides confirmed; but expecting to pay commensurate with skill spectrum.
