The goal of the Mechanic Assistant position is to contribute to the preventative maintenance and repair of Lawnmowers, and handheld power equipment. Safety-conscious, consistent on-time performance, strong mechanical skills and ability to follow basic instructions is needed.  Essential Functions Change oil, filters, sharpen blades, inspect and replace worn parts, test drive equipment and some electrical diagnostic work. Seasonal shift to preventative maintenance during winter months.  Be open to and make suggestions for improved equipment or repair procedures, willingness to experiment for continued improvement. Prerequisites Must have a valid driver’s license Must have own tools One (1) to three (3) years mechanical experience Some Knowledge of Landscape equipment Legal authorization to work in the United States Why Join Yellowstone?
