Description
We sat next to each other on the flight from LAX to DTW -Oct 18 - Oct 19. You slept; I watched movies. At the end of the flight we had to sit on the plane for an extra 30 mins. You and I noticed each other laughing at a trio of young people in the seats across from us talking loudly about socal rent and how to pronounce 'Detroit.' We shared several quips and made each other crack up. After de-boarding we walked together to the baggage claim and chatted pleasantly continuing to crack each other up. You told me that you were an anthropology teacher at University of Michigan ( UofM ). Once we reached baggage claim, I bid you farewell and headed out to catch my ride. After a minute, I realized how stupid I was not at least ask you your name. I looked back and you were gone.
I have not been able to stop thinking about you since.
