Originally destined for the shelter as her owner suffered a stroke and will not be returning home to care for her. Now in foster care. A 9 year old, 30# spayed cattle/heeler mix, Dani is not for everyone which makes it difficult to rehome. She is apprehensive in meeting new people. Protective of her owner and prefers to be the only dog so she can receive all the attention. And did I mention a bit of separation anxiety (although not destructive). That being said, once she forms her bond, she is loving without being a shadow, active and playful (loves catch) and knows her basic commands. Has some interesting habits such as when she wants your attention she'll get behind a door, close it so you have to let her out. She will need a secure yard yet allowed to be inside, an owner who has behavioral dog experience or a dog rescuer that gets it. Fingers and paws crossed her new owner is out there. Thank you
