ROCK/FUNK/SOUL jam session in need of players

Im 22 years old and Im looking to form a band that jams on a consistent basis. While my long term goals are to record some kind of album, I just want to jam and make some music with others who are just as passionate. I am very serious about this project. A little about myself: I have played music for just about my entire life and have been heavily invested in music production for the last 10. I grew up playing the piano. I've played trumpet in classical and jazz bands throughout middle and high school so I am familiar with a lot of jazz standards. I've been learning the guitar for the last 2 years and I pick up new concepts pretty quickly. My goals for this band: I'm looking for players who are passionate about playing great music that can make people move. Some people who inspire the music I play are Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Santana, CCR, Albert King, Albert Collins, Booker T & the MGs, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Bill Withers, Earth Wind and Fire, Sade, The Whispers, Curtis Mayfield, and many many more obviously. I know this a long and diverse list but the idea is that a lot of these artists have some really fun songs that could be covered in a fun and new way. I spend most of my time both covering songs as well as working on original riffs. What Im looking for: I play guitar myself and would need drums, bass, keys, and vocals. If you play guitar yourself, your welcome to play aswell and I could play keys myself. Im flexible on age and skillset although Id prefer if you are already familiar with keeping time, rhythm, and transcribing songs. A may be able to host some days although it would be nice if other people could host as well.
