Job description Production Worker Job Description We are looking for Production workers to assist in the manufacturing process at our facility. You will be working in a fast-paced environment that handles wood materials for furniture and mattresses. The Production Worker's responsibilities may include sorting wood, operating a nail gun, spray gun, sewing material and operating machinery under the supervision of the department supervisor. An outstanding Production worker should be able to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality. Production Worker Responsibilities: • Following health and safety standards. • Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor. • Packing filled wood pieces of consumer commodities in boxes or packages as directed by the supervisor. • Following production guidelines and specifications. • Finalizing and packaging products for shipment. • Working on the production line and meeting production targets. • Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty. • Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of the finished product, raw materials, supplies, and production tools and equipment. • Performing other tasks as assigned. Production Worker Requirements: • Able to lift 40lbs. • Previous experience working in a factory is beneficial • Experience operating manufacturing machinery • Able to work as part of a team • Good communication skills • Stand for extended periods, including walking, lifting, climbing, crouching, bending, reaching, and stooping.
