Position begins Monday, November 21st Looking to hire an after-school respite provider for my 8 y.o. daughter and 9 y.o. high-functioning autistic son. Must be able to pick children up from school punctually at 2:30 pm (PS 84 Williamsburg, Brooklyn). We live within walking distance from the school. Typical hours will be from 2:30 pm - 7 pm Monday - Friday. Possible occasional holidays, and evenings. $20 per hour about 20-22 hours per week. $100 weekly bonus if arrive to all shifts on time. Applicant will become an employee of the Respite / Community Habilitation agency called Braverhood (https://www.braverhood.org/). Must be legally able to work in the US. The kids like to play at the playground in the afternoon. Applicant will need to watch the children closely and mediate playground disputes. Daily homework help, snack preparation, light housework (getting kids to clean messes made after school), includes walking kids to classes within the neighborhood
