Looking for Farm-Experienced Folks
We welcome folks who are passionate about sustainable, regenerative agriculture and love to work hard to make it happen! We are a nonprofit farm that grows herbs, vegetables, and flowers. We are seeking folks who have some experience farming and know the basics of seeding, weeding, plant care, soil care, and harvesting. Position requires regular physical labor. We have greenhouses and produce year-round. We will train folks as needed.
We are accepting full or part time work applications. Part time will be minimum of 16 hours a week.
The farm sits on property owned by the Sikh religion in Sombrillo.
We are an intentional yoga community; therefore, we request that our lifestyle guidelines are respected while at the farm:
- Lacto-vegetarian diet (no meat, fish, fowl, or eggs
- Zero Tolerance Substance Policy (no narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, and similar stimulants which are not medically prescribed on premises
- Firearms are not allowed on premises.
- Workers may not bring animals to the farm.
- We request modest dress.
We practice Kundalini Yoga and meditation. Some people in our community are Sikhs, therefore they choose to wear turbans.
