Smithson Electric, Inc. is the greater Southern California Region's leading Traffic-Induction Loop construction company for over 31 years. We are in search of a positive, self-motivated, team-oriented Warehouse-Yard Laborer-Mechanic for part to full-time work. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting with inventory control management, loading and unloading work trucks, cleaning and maintaining warehouse and yard, operating Fork-lift and Back Hoe, conducting basic upkeep of vehicles and equipment (i.e., oil and fluid changes, belts, spark-plugs, etc.), driving equipment to field as needed, and assisting with maintenance of vehicles, air-compressors, concrete saws, tar-machines, and other equipment (basic maintenance with an ability to learn and advance in this area).
Other skills & qualifications required:

> Good communication skills.
> High School Diploma or GED preferred.
> Forklift cert, Welding, OSHA, and other certifications desired but not necessary.
> Class-A DL preferred but not necessary. Clean driving record and valid DL.
> Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
> Must pass a pre-employment background check & drug screen test.
Competitive hourly rate of $16-$18 per hour. 20 to 40 hours a week with potential for full-medical, dental, vision benefits.
