Need some housing advice

I am a 100% disabled veterans who resides in Montgomery County. I am, for the first time in my life, looking to buy a home I have enough income to qualify for a home in the $300,000 range. As anyone knows in MC, that doesn't get you a lot. I am looking to get another source to qualify for a bit more home and should be able to work that out soon. My problem is the closing costs. I lack any source of that money. I have heard of some programs that help you with closing costs. I would buy using a VA loan but still need closing costs. Does anyone know of a county or state program that helps you in that area? IF so, please send me that info. Thanks for taking the time to read this note.
